Supervision
Are you a counsellor, therapist, educator, facilitator, coach, or another helping professional?
Are you seeking support to do your best work and prevent burnout?
Supervision is a theoretically informed process that provides an active and reflective space to explore your work from diverse perspectives, promoting ethical decision-making, personal growth, and compassionate support. I am professionally certified and trained by an industry-leading expert to provide supervision for helping professionals in both organisational and private practice settings. I use an evidence-based, creative, and integrative supervision model, drawing on supervision, ethical, psychological, and educational theories.
One-to-one supervision sessions are available biweekly or monthly, online via video call, providing ongoing support. It's reassuring to know someone has your back and can assist you to explore and develop your work.
Here's what you can expect:
Build on your strengths as a practitioner
Safe enough space to explore your vulnerabilities
Reflect on your way of working and receive support
Explore your edges and grow your awareness
Benefit from shared practice-based research
Understand your work in the wider context
Creative, playful processes to explore the edge of awareness
Humanistic, transpersonal and GSRD specialisms
I'm constantly learning and growing, and aim to build supervisory relationships rooted in active collaboration and uplifting your professional development. Whilst I may share from my practice-based research, I do not take the role of an expert, rather I aim to be an ally and facilitator of the supervisory processes supporting you to explore and develop your unique practice and way of being.
About you:
I enjoy supporting practitioners who share a dedication to increasing compassion, kindness and wellbeing in the world.
You will be committed to providing trauma-sensitive care for all clients, ensuring that your practice is inclusive and also responsive to marginalised individuals.
You will be relational and oriented toward the person-centred, six necessary and sufficient conditions for personal growth in your work with people. I can support you with this if you're unfamiliar.
You will be open to supervision being a brave space for self-reflection, emotional integrity, creativity and playful exploration.
You will be an active contributor and participant in your professional association, peer networks, communities or institutions.
You are warmly welcome, including if you are LGBTQIA+, working-class, with different abilities, neurodivergent, or a person of culture.
Practicalities:
The cost for one-to-one supervision is £47.50 (50 minutes) to £95 (90 minutes) per session, depending on your needs. You will receive invoices and the cost can be claimed as a business expense. You are responsible for recording any session notes that you require. Our sessions may be by video or voice call, or face-to-face. 7 days notice of cancellation or rescheduling is greatly appreciated, when possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice may incur the full fee.
