Supervision
In a metaphorical sense, I have a 'mycelial' approach to supervision. I see my professional peers as independent practitioners belonging to a co-creative network of collaboration i.e. a circle of community not a pyramid of competition or administrative class ranks. I value individual strengths and innate, heart-based resources. Reflective practice supervision sessions are available for allied peers including counsellors, facilitators, psychologists, peer support workers, health and social care practitioners, and therapists of all kinds. Sessions are entirely focused on supporting you with nourishing and sustaining heart-centred care.
Build on your strengths as a practitioner
Safe enough space to explore your vulnerabilities
Reflect on your way of working and receive support
Explore your edges and grow your awareness
Benefit from shared practice-based research
Understand your work in the wider context
Humanistic, transpersonal and GSRD specialisms
I hold a psycho-spiritual counselling diploma (including integrative counselling, person-centred therapy, eco-therapy and transpersonal psychology), and CPD in trauma, resilience and multi-modality therapies. I am experienced in working with young people, refugees, and clients from diverse life paths. I love to hold spaces where people can grow.
My counselling qualification meets the necessary criteria to provide supervision according to the ethics of the BACP. I don't hold an advanced supervision diploma however I can provide peer supervision supporting you with your clients, patients, students or participants. You may also work with a specialist supervisor or fellow peer(s) to supplement your supervision and professional development interests.
About you:
I enjoy supporting counsellors, educators, facilitators and guides who share a dedication to increasing compassion and wellbeing in the world.
You will be committed to providing trauma-sensitive care for all clients, and ensuring that your practice is inclusive and also responsive to marginalised individuals.
You will be oriented toward the six necessary and sufficient conditions for therapeutic change in your work with people. I can support you with this if you're unfamiliar.
You are warmly welcome, including if you are LGBTQIA+, working-class, with different abilities, neurodivergent, or a person of culture.
You will be fully-qualified, and most importantly, working from your heart i.e. supporting clients with a heart-centred attitude.
Practicalities:
You are responsible for recording any session notes that you require. Our sessions may be by video or voice call, or face-to-face, in a private space. 7 days notice of cancellation or rescheduling is greatly appreciated, when possible. Sessions may be booked on a flexible basis.
