Experiences You May Be Facing

Below are some experiences people often bring to therapy. Many describe these as mental health challenges, but I take a non-pathologising approach.

I don’t see your thoughts, feelings, or behaviours as signs that something is wrong with you. Instead, I understand internal struggle and distress as part of being a human being . You have your own variations of biological, psychological and social needs, which are specific to your personal differences, identity and experiences.

In therapy, we can explore what your distress, joys, agonies, and pleasures might be revealing to you about your life, your relationships, and the world around you. Together, we’ll learn what makes you tick, gathering insights and exploring ways toward what would make life more wonderful for you.
