You are a whole person; all aspects of you are welcome here, including gender, race, sexuality, class, disability, neurodivergence, mental health, culture, nationality, beliefs, spirituality, political orientation, and all your identities among your family and communities.
Therapy is a space for you to explore, question, and make big and small life choices that lead to further learning and growth. I invite you to explore what might make life more wonderful for you.
Let's start where you are now.
Therapy shouldn't be 'done to you', it's simply your process understood and mutually supported with empathy, psycho-education and the development of awareness, skills and tools. I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities and choose to practice in a deeply person-centred way that prioritises autonomy and self-directed growth.
Sessions are held by phone, video call or in person. You may attend weekly or flexibly/ad hoc. Your preferences will be upheld.
Therapy is open-ended so may be short-term (e.g. 3 months) or more intensive and long-term (1 year or more).
Everyone needs extra support sometimes.
You may wish to contemplate these questions before contacting me:
What do you hope the end of therapy will look like for you? How will you know when you are feeling better?
Are there any specific skills or tools you'd like to develop?
What kind of commitment do you want to make to your therapy process? How long do you envisage being in therapy? Do you want homework? Would you like to meet every week, or would a more flexible or occasional approach suit you better?
At the core of the work, therapy empowers you to build self-knowledge and live your life according to your own capacity for well-being. You'll be supported to tend to split off and fragmented aspects of yourself, develop more authentic connections with others, and move forward in your life.
