This massage is designed for those who have faced stressful life challenges and seek a safe, supportive way to restore relaxation and vitality in their body. If you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or struggle with your emotional well-being, this approach may help.
Many of my clients are neurodivergent or highly sensitive people (HSPs*)—individuals with sensory processing sensitivity—who struggle with the nervous system effects of highly stimulating environments, such as urban lifestyles. This massage works silently with the nervous system to restore balance, without the need to talk unless you choose to.
How It Works
In a tranquil garden clinic, you’ll find the time and space to reconnect with your body at your own pace. The massage supports your nervous system, gently easing tension, numbness, or discomfort. You may choose to receive therapeutic touch over clothing or enjoy the soothing sensation of aromatherapy oils applied to your skin, absorbed deeply into your body.
During your first session, we’ll identify areas that need attention. You’re always in control, and you will be supported to communicate your comfort level. My goal is to help you feel grounded, relaxed, and at ease in your body.
The Benefits of Massage
Massage nurtures your body’s innate capacity to heal and find balance. Through gentle, intentional touch, it can help you:
Release tension stored in muscles and connective tissue.
Calm the nervous system, easing stress and overwhelm.
Improve circulation, aiding recovery and reducing discomfort.
Restore body awareness, helping you feel more grounded and present.
While even a single session can bring relief, regular massage deepens these benefits—especially for stress, chronic tension, or emotional overwhelm. Come as often as feels right for you, with no pressure to commit. Every session is designed to leave you feeling more comfortable in your body, deeply relaxed, and more balanced.
Sessions may last 30 to 50 minutes, and are available on a sliding scale (see fees). Longer sessions may be available if needed.
Please note: the clinic is situated on a steep slope of the Brighton Downs, with limited access via steps. Special arrangements can be made to meet at a different location if you let me know your access needs upon booking.
